Everytime the Skrump and I leave our gym we pass an amazing classic car place on Santa Monica Blvd. We wistfully look at all the classic, perfectly restored and pick which one we’d like to cruise around in. But the fact remains, old cars require a lot of upkeep. Sure, nothing compares to their abundance of style and panache, even if you love newer cars for their reliability and safety. But there is just something about a classic. One of the most stylish and rare classics is an ASTON MARTIN DB4 GT – only a handful were made over the years, and yet, the stunning good looks remain timeless. Now, a company called Evanta Motor Company will take a new ASTON MARTIN DB7 and convert it to look just tike the old classic – and bam – you have the best of both worlds. Under the sexy body all new mechanicals and all the modern conveniences. A stunner. And it got my thinking about my Skrumpy – who is celebrating a birthday today. A beautiful classic himself, sexy and stunning, rare and desired. Happy Birthday baby…
