This morning, I opened my inbox, and to my surprise, I was delighted. Usually, it is full of spam and other flotsam and jetsam, but today, something different. Now everyone who reads this knows I love a good wagon – and the AUDI ALLROAD is a great example. Everyone also knows I like a good Woody ( no snickering). In fact, I demand the next Jeep Wagoneer have the option of being one. And, there must be like minded people out there, because some talented photochopper/ designer out there made this: a Audi Allroad Black Forest Edition. A quick google search shows that lots of people think this is a real thing, but sadly, it is just a dream. Although, starting with the already terrific Allroad, it probably wouldn’t be that hard to get an aftermarket decal of this. And I think it looks amazing. Modern, not retro, heritage – although I have no idea if Audi ever produced a woody, in a tasteful and exceptional execution. I totally get this idea, and I hope someone out there with resources does too… It really takes an already great car and makes it really special. So like millions of men around the country, I got a morning woody – only this one is actually useful.
