What’s it all about, Alfa?

For years, we have been told the ALFA ROMEO would soon be returning to these shores. The FIAT owned Italian company hasn’t sold a car in America since 1995. Then, rumors abounded that the storied company would return in 2007. In 2006 an announcement was made that it would arrive by 2012, and here we are with no Alfas. But they say it is coming…. A few examples of its super car, the 8C supposedly made the trip into collector’s hands, but that is hardly the return. They now say 2014 is the magical year we will get a massed produced Alfa to enjoy. Hold your breath if you want, but I wouldn’t advise it. I love Alfas – they have so much style, so much history and are really unique driving machines. And they are often known for their beautiful lines and sculpted styling. So, lately, the internet has been awash with renderings of the soon to be released GIULIA model. A stunning four door ( and wagon ) to take on the 3 Series, the C Class and the A4. And we are told, this is the car that will spearhead the return. I have collected a few shots for your approval, and to get an idea of what (possibly) is coming…  if and when. Hopefully the production version will adhere to these ideas, and hopefully we will gets chance to see them here.
